The Science of Living | Dave Craig | TEDxRochester

Dave Craig shares his story of survival, self-discovery, and how he is helping people with cancer all over the world find others who can truly and uniquely relate to them. In his talk, Dave describes how he has catalyzed personal adversity, patient experience research, and digital technology to create an app to connect, empower and transform the living-with-cancer experience. Dave Craig is a two-time cancer survivor, patient-experience researcher, and digital health innovator. He is a co-founder of GRYT Health, a tech start-up with a focus on connecting individuals with similar experiences. They launched The Stupid Cancer App on October 1st, 2017. The app connects cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers across fifty states and more than fifty other countries, introducing individuals with similar experiences to each other and offering information on how to manage their health on their terms. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
