Gryt Health stands with Texas, New York, and California community members

Every human should have the right to feel safe and loved in their community. No one has the right to senselessly take the life of another simply because they are who they are or they love who they love.

Gryt Health believes the United States needs to enforce stricter gun laws and harsher consequences for hate crimes now. With the recent events in Uvalde TX, Buffalo NY, and Laguna Woods CA, these horrific events happening at an increasing pace (or even at all) is completely unacceptable. These acts of hatred and domestic terrorism must stop now.

The Gryt Health team wants everyone impacted by these events to know you are seen, heard and loved.

We implore everyone to take action in the name of humanity, love and peace. Please write to your local decision makers about these issues. You can contact your local Senator and State Representatives by using this resource. If you like, you can use the sample letter format below. It is generally suggested that if you want to discuss both issues – hate crimes and gun violence – that you submit separate letters to your decision makers.

The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) has a terrific resource about how to format and write a letter to a U.S. Senator that is modeled after writing a basic letter. We are republishing this PDF in text form below with some edits that allows you to copy / paste and make edits that fit your reasoning:
